When applied, the boot protector forms a silicone barrier that attaches to leather or cloth on your boots. The silicone is a very tough barrier against water while still allowing the boots to breath for comfortable use. It is great for protecting hiking or working boots as your feet will remain dry and comfortable day after day. To use, first make sure to wipe away any dirt or grime that has accumulated on your boots with a soft cloth and make sure they are dry. Shake the can well and hold the can between 7 and 10 inches from the boots while applying a light, even coat. If extra protection is desires, apply a second coat four hours after the first.
