Hi-Yield 33371 Horticultural Hydrated Lime

Horticultural grade hydrated lime is frequently used as an ingredient in mushroom substrate casing material. It is primarily used to raise the pH of these casing materials. A common casing recipe is: 10 parts peat, 10 parts coarse vermiculite, 1 part gypsum, 1/4 part hydrated lime.Sold in 5 lb. increments.
